Fantastic from start to finish. Restaurant was easy walking distance from our hotel (Linden Row). Promptly seated, menus were already on clean table when we were seated. Ordering was easy as I had checked out menus online and I can never resist a Reuben. Perly's was one of the best I've had. My Reuben came w/fries and my husband ordered a Sub Snyderman with potato salad. All aspects were perfect and portion size was significant so we had leftovers for lunch the next day. The Reuben was delicious, not greasy, with good amount of meat, kraut and sauce. Fries were AMAZING and pickle was nice & crisp. Dillon was a polite and helpful server. Fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.

An excellent meal with great customer service! A friend was in from out of town so I took her to Perly's and we got a full spread with enough for three meals. The meat knish with mustard and a sweet beet and cabbage salad is one of the best things there. The vegetarian knish is excellent but has a milder flavor with a thick sauce. The Shapiro Schnitzel sandwich was 11/10. The Benny Goodman was so crunchy! The dill hollandaise was amazing on the smoked salmon. We would eat everything again. But we would also like to try everything we saw our neighboring booths eat too lol.

We are new to the area and were so happy to find a Jewish Deli! The only hard part was deciding what to order. However, we were also able to order things to take with us! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was fun! Looking forward to our next visit.

I went to Perly's on the suggestion of one of my friends and man it was amazing. I tried four different dishes and all were spectacular. The Benny Goodman was amazing and pretty unique in terms of a unique eggs Benedict. The vegetable knish had a delicious sauce that accompanied it. The matzo ball soup tasted just like it came out of a grandmother's kitchen. The chocolate babka was served warm and not too sweet. I will definitely be back.

If you love an authentic deli, and NYC is too far away, then get over to Perly's in Richmond, VA! This is the real deal. You want some nice matzo ball soup? Sit. Sit. It is among the best you've ever had. And whitefish salad on an everything bagel? What's not to like? And, how about a nice potato latke? We've got sour cream and applesauce to go with it. 5 Stars. And we will be back!

We were so impressed with the food here! And even with a long wait time for a table—it’s so worth it. 🙌 I never had experienced authentic delicatessen before but we ordered out of our comfort zone and were not disappointed! Fantastic food, drinks, and pastries!👌 Food order: Schnitzel Perlstein ~ fried veal, eggs, trout salad topped Drink order: BLOODY MIRIAM ~ beet juice Bloody Mary Wait times can be very long but it means it’s really GOOD! 🥒🍳🥐

Perly's Jewish Delicatessen in Richmond, VA - definitely worth the stop! The food is so fresh and the atmosphere fun. Reuben & Jewbano sandwiches (the rye bread was so good!), Borscht & Matzoh Ball soups (warm & hearty!), authentic deli pickles, and some garlic dill fries! One very full and happy family, here!

People go to Perlys for sandwiches (which are also delicious btw) I go for breakfast! Love the beef bacon and beef sausage options 😋 and they have the best latkes I've ever had from a restaurant. Meal pictured is "The schonner" coffee included w/homemade bagel.

My husband has made an excellent choice for our travel break, finding a fantastic eatery that's been a local favorite since 1961. The place holds a special charm, and its authenticity is unmistakable. The nostalgia it sparks is powerful, bringing tears to my husband's eyes as childhood memories flood back. To all food enthusiasts, we highly recommend this place; it's an experience worth every penny.
